The Zen Forest

Here is a little short film that Kaori and I wrote, directed and filmed in 1 day last christmas in Chichibu forest, Japan. I know, I know... Harajuku on a Sunday photos are cliche and are an ohhh so common snap of gaijin in Tokyo but this one is truly stunning! This photo was taken candid, with no zoom and whilst walking and has captured the innocence and cuteness of the Japanese teenager. Great contrast between foreground and background (new & old) and the colours add and overall richness to this surprisingly well framed snap. Love the expression and the focus of the eye.
